I feel like I'm on both sides of the fence with the whole Piracy and media sharing issue. On one side yes its a law that should be upheld but than again what is the real harm. This whole country is built(my opinion), on the work of others. I think there needs to be a better solution to this problem than trying to lock people up for it because all that is going to do is cost more for putting people in jail raising another issue in our society. I agree that "perhaps the orientation should be to abandon the fixation of prohibiting unauthorized private copying and think of a more innovative means of compensation and protection"(Moore 249).

Why We Work
After reading this selection I can say that i strongly agree with writer Arlie Hochschild on the subject of working woman in America and the need for men or other significant partner should share the responsibilities of housework as well as the upbringing of the children. From my experience through family and friends I have witness relationships and marriages fail, especially in the black family because of the burden of picking up the males slack and responsiblity. Too many woman in our society go through the hardship of being financial provider, housekeeper, and full time parent with no break in between. Also agree with Hochschild on the issue of the government not providing enough for working families and new and improved policies that would benefit the working families. American has proven to be a place thats more selfish than helpful to its people. "The rich get richer and the poor gets poorer". The legitimate needy and unemployed deserve the help from those who are well off. This world will never work and we will never really be able to co exist without each other. ~REV.

letter from birmingham jail mlk
Once again I find myself amazed at the writing of civil rights leader Dr. martin Luther King Jr. . His patience and countless efforts to remain non violent in his protest and demonstrations for civil and human rights for all man kind is an inspiration. The African American society still holds this grudge against white America and i believe that Martin Luther King's teachings and his spirit needs to be installed back into the african american community because, we may have the freedom fought for but the battle is not over. We are now fighting ourselves.
